Job summary

Orion is seeking a Client Support Specialist - Trading & Cost Basis to assist advisors with trading workflows, cost basis, tax lots, and transaction history across Orion's trading tools.

This hybrid role requires on-site three days a week at an Orion office; candidates should be located within commuting distance. Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and 1–3+ years in financial services preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Administration, Accounting, or related field is required or preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience in financial services, trading operations, client service, or related roles.
• Experience supporting trading platforms or investment workflows is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for trading and data-related inquiries via calls, chats, and Salesforce cases.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trading data, cost basis, tax lots, and transaction history.
• Explain how underlying data affects trading outcomes, execution, and reporting.
• Own complex client scenarios from inquiry to resolution with internal coordination as needed.
• Document case outcomes and resolutions per internal controls and service expectations.
• Follow established processes, controls, and escalation paths for issues outside ownership.
