Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming in Denver is seeking a Trading Associate to support Traders with data-driven tasks, including compiling prices, managing games, monitoring bets, and testing new sportsbook features.

You will analyze data to translate insights into probabilities, collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations to create a scalable, customer-focused betting experience, and help drive automation and continuous improvement within the Trading department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field or currently pursuing one.
• 1-3 years of experience in similar roles.
• A real passion for sport and understanding of sports fans.

Responsibilities

• Work in a designated area of the Trading department, responsible for tasks including compiling prices, managing games, monitoring bets, adjusting prices, and assessing customers.
• Contribute to testing new sportsbook features and trading models, while providing feedback and collaborating with the wider team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the Trading department by assisting with automation and identifying areas for advancement.
• Support and collaborate with other Associate Traders within the Trading department, sharing knowledge and contributing to their development.
• Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to create and implement a best-in-class, intuitive, and scalable betting experience for our customers - driven by data, user research, and competitor analysis.
• Ensure that Fanatics are putting the customer at the heart of our Trading strategies.
• Assisting other teams within the department where necessary.
