We’re adding the next technician who will help us continue delivering the level of service our customers expect.

This is not an entry‑level role.

This is a professional service position with real responsibility and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Run residential service plumbing calls with professionalism and confidence
• Diagnose issues accurately and present clear repair options
• Perform high‑quality repairs and installations under your Tradesman license
• Follow the Mr. Rooter C.U.S.T.O.M.E.R. experience process to deliver consistent, five‑star service
• Conduct whole‑home plumbing inspections and offer proactive recommendations
• Maintain clean work habits, accurate documentation, and strong communication
• Treat every home with respect and protect the customer’s property
• Support a positive, accountable field culture as our team grows

Who Thrives Here

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Enjoys interacting with customers and solving problems
• Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
• Appreciates autonomy — managing your day, your calls, and your results
• Is patient, persistent, and detail‑oriented
• Is comfortable with tools, technology, iPads, and service software
• Isn’t afraid of the physical side of plumbing and takes pride in cleaning up afterward
• Wants a long‑term career path with opportunities to advance toward Journeyman

Training & Support

You’re already a capable plumber — we’re not teaching you the basics.

What we do provide:

• Systems training to deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience
• Coaching to help you increase efficiency, confidence, and earning potential
• Access to advanced training modules to help you grow toward Journeyman
• A professional, supportive environment where excellence is the standard

This is professional development — not basic training.

How We Measure Success

We keep score, and we celebrate wins. Success is measured by:

• Offering and delivering the right solutions
• Quality workmanship done right the first time
• Efficient use of time and materials
• High customer satisfaction and five‑star reviews

Required Qualifications

These are non‑negotiable:

• Active Texas Tradesman Plumber License
• Residential service plumbing experience
• Strong diagnostic and customer‑service skills
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Professional appearance and communication

What You Get

• Competitive base pay
• Commission that rewards performance and professionalism
• Paid training and professional development
• Branded company vehicle
• iPad and service software
• Paid time off
• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
• A clear path to earning your Journeyman license and advancing within the team

Compensation

Typical Tradesman range in Houston: $22.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.

After onboarding, you will earn performance‑based commissions tied to job profitability and service excellence.
