Job summary

Tanium is seeking an Event Manager, Tradeshows to own end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of Tanium's presence at third-party tradeshows and conferences across North America and globally. The role emphasizes on-site leadership, ROI, and brand-consistent activations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in B2B event management, strong operations experience, and the ability to manage budgets of $1M+ with global scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in B2B event or field marketing, independently owning large-scale events.
• Deep expertise in tradeshow operations including design, contractors, drayage, A/V, housing blocks.
• Proven budget management of $500K+ with forecast reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating multiple events across geographies and time zones.
• Familiarity with event platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Swoogo, Splash) and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of Tanium's tradeshow and third-party event program.
• Develop and manage annual tradeshow calendar across Marketing and Sales.
• Lead pre-event logistics: venue, booth design, A/V, shipping, staffing, housing.
• Manage relationships with organizers, GC, vendors; negotiate contracts.
• Build and track event budgets; report ROI to marketing leadership.
• Create integrated pre/post-show campaigns with Demand Gen and Digital teams.
• Brief attendees with Field Sales; coordinate executive meetings and VIPs.
• Oversee collateral, swag, and on-brand materials; ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve as primary on-site lead at major tradeshows; ensure flawless execution.
• Measure leads, pipeline impact, meetings, and cost per lead; post-event analysis.
• Evaluate new opportunities with ROI benchmarks and data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies.
