Job summary

SmartSource is seeking an Events Project Manager to ensure flawless execution of live events. You will plan, organize, and coordinate installation and field support, acting as primary client contact from start to finish.

You will collaborate with National Support, Local Operations, and cross-functional teams to configure orders to customer requirements and manage project plans, travel, and on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the Event Industry including on-the-ground Project Management.
• Mastery of IT Technology Deployment, Temporary Audio-Visual Installations or Tradeshow Technology Deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to sales and solutions teams for RFPs and proposals.
• Plan, organize, and schedule resources to meet project deliverables.
• Assist in pre-production planning through show completion.
• Serve as primary client contact before and during events.
• Build and manage a Project Plan with all event requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, Sales, Solutions Architects, and operations.
• Supervise on-site labor and subcontractors.
• Travel to and support events at various venues.
• Maintain communication with Account Executives on project status.
