Job summary

igus Inc. is seeking a Tradeshow Construction Technician to support the Tradeshow Manager and Construction Team Lead in installing and dismantling igus displays at tradeshows across North America.

You will manage booth construction, logistics, maintenance, and ensure all exhibit materials are show-ready. The role requires reading technical drawings, operating hand and power tools, loading/unloading equipment, and collaborating with vendors to meet tight deadlines while adhering to safety rules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in tradeshow construction, carpentry, fabrication, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and schematics.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble igus tradeshow booths according to specifications and design standards.
• Operate tools safely to construct booth structures and components.
• Load and unload trucks with tradeshow equipment, inventory, and materials.
• Install lighting, audiovisual equipment, monitors, and booth accessories.
• Ensure booth graphics, signage, and product displays are secure.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on booth components.
• Coordinate with Tradeshow Manager and team to meet timelines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, venue rules, and regulations.
• Manage inventory when not traveling and prepare for travel.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
