Brightpoint Community College invites applications for the position of Trades Technician at the Midlothian campus. This role performs work associated with college facilities to support and maintain a safe, comfortable, and attractive campus environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. The Trades Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and related building systems, including preventative maintenance, equipment inspection, and troubleshooting. This role also assists with general building repairs, classroom and office setups, and campus deliveries. Maintains inventory of parts, materials, and supplies. Actively participates in safety training and inspections and utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work and maintain records. This position is designated as Essential Personnel.
