Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Trades Service Operations Manager to oversee work orders for plumbing, lighting, doors, and electrical repairs. You will ensure services are delivered on time and align with contractual obligations.

Under supervision of the Account Director, you will direct field teams and subcontractors, manage scheduling, reporting, and invoicing logistics, and maintain client communication around status updates 24/7.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5 years of general contractor trades maintenance and management experience.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Windows applications, particularly MS Excel and Word; typing at least 50 words per minute with strong writing skills.
• Professional, friendly demeanor with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to work under pressure and escalate issues to leadership.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Plumbing experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage work orders, scheduling, vendor management, purchase order coordination, and reporting.
• Provide technical direction and support to Field Organization and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Respond to maintenance and repair requests focusing on plumbing, doors, and electrical issues.
• Maintain effective communication with employees, management, contractors, and customers 24/7.
• Assist with invoicing statuses and issues, escalating as needed.
• Provide accurate reports on open work orders as required by supervisors.
• Document all correspondence related to work orders to maintain up-to-date records.
• Attend all required staff meetings and complete safety training.
