The Trades Generalist‑Signage role supports the Judicial Branch by designing and fabricating high‑quality signage for court facilities across Maricopa County. You will craft signage with precision, using Gerber software and related tools to meet branding and accessibility standards.
Work is primarily indoors in office/settings with some travel to facilities. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and two years’ experience in semi-skilled trades, plus a valid AZ driver's license.
Pay Range Min - Mid - Max $21.75 - $28.13 - $34.50
The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $21.75 to $27.00 per hour. This position is Non-Exempt under the FLSA.
Under the current guidelines for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program, the Maricopa County Superior Court is a qualifying employer. Therefore, any full time Judicial Branch employee, who meets other eligibility criteria may be eligible for loan forgiveness under this program.

This position is mostly indoors in an office setting. It may require some exposure to outdoor elements related to weather such as high heat temperatures based on the signage need. Fabricating and installing signage can involve physical activities such as lifting, climbing, and working with tools and equipment. Safety precautions are essential to prevent injuries. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and maneuver necessary equipment and tools 30 to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. Will require travel to facilities throughout Maricopa County.

The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County participates in the State Retirement systems ASRS or PSPRS. As such, mandatory membership for all full‑time employees includes payroll deducted contributions consistent with each retirement system's requirements. The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12.27% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5.84% and up for the defined contribution plan and 8.82% for the defined benefit plan. Judicial Branch facilities are located throughout Maricopa County. This position may be reassigned to other locations. Assignments will be made based upon the needs of the department.
