Role: Trading Manager
Location: Los Angeles
You will be joining the Trading Team as the lead across the Core Pod reporting directly to the RVP Trading. You will be part of a fast‑paced team where operational excellence, innovation and commercial expertise are key. This new role offers a chance to shape the position and grow with the business.
What You'll Be Doing
The Trading Manager will be responsible for managing a team of programmatic traders, delivering high levels of campaign performance and client excellence. The role works closely with Account Management and Sales to ensure best practices and efficient processes.
- Implement and enforce trading best practices – campaign management, product and tool adoption.
- Monitor weekly performance and pacing for regional campaigns.
- Run weekly Pod board sessions, identify opportunities and challenges, and convert them into action.
- Make timely decisions, set clear directions, and hold the team accountable for high‑quality results.
- Ensure even and well‑rounded distribution of campaign count and revenue across regional traders.
- Balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.
- Develop and share best‑practice solutions; conduct bi‑weekly 1‑1s on performance and trading excellence.
- Support traders with complex campaigns, recommendations and troubleshooting.
- Create long‑term development plans and career paths for reports.
- Act as the trading expert on product execution and client requirements.
- Partner with Sales Directors and Account Management Leads to drive operational excellence.
- Maintain consistent dialogue with Sales and Account Management as the ‘go‑to’ stakeholder for regional trading.
- Engage key stakeholders to achieve goals and build internal and external networks.
- Contribute to US‑wide trading strategy, collaborate with U.S. trader managers to activate national best practices.
- Work with the Strategic Trading team to test and learn across key product and innovation initiatives.
- Find new ways of working, apply or implement solutions for market requirements.

Qualifications
- 4 years of trading experience.
- Preferred 1 year of management experience.
- Experience training and developing team members.
- Experience in portfolio management of high‑scale accounts.
- Experience partnering with commercial leadership.
- Demonstrated impact on a wider team.
- Good knowledge of the media landscape and digital media technologies.
- In‑depth understanding of DSP capabilities.
- Experience running different verticals, channels and product types.
- Demonstrated trading innovation.
- Analytical/quantitative skills with ability to draw insights from large datasets.
- High attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Quick learner, able to grasp new concepts easily.
- Forward thinker with an open mind to new ideas.

- Excellent communication skills; able to present insights and reports to internal and external stakeholders at a high standard.

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Los Angeles, MiQ must include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The base range is $100,000 - $125,000, with actual on‑target earnings of $150,000 - $180,000. This range may vary for positions outside Los Angeles and does not account for bonus or commission structures.
