Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Redwood City, CA seeks a Trademark Associate (Prosecution) to join a team of experienced attorneys providing strategic trademark and copyright guidance, including prosecution and enforcement.

The successful candidate will handle clearance, office actions responses, TTAB proceedings, and advise on copyright issues while collaborating across the firm to deliver comprehensive IP solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in U.S. and foreign trademark law.
• Active state bar membership with compliance in CLE requirements.
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Strong analytical skills for complex legal analysis.
• Effective communication with diverse clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution services.
• Review clearance searches and prepare responses to PTO office actions.
• Handle enforcement matters, including cease and desist letters and domain name disputes.
• Engage in TTAB proceedings and manage trademark use on social media platforms.
• Advise on copyright law issues.
