A bit about us

Our national law firm is seeking a Trademark Attorney to join its Intellectual Property practice. This role involves advising sophisticated clients on U.S. and international trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

Conduct trademark clearance searches, prepare and prosecute U.S. trademark applications before the USPTO, manage international trademark portfolios, coordinate with foreign counsel, and handle oppositions, cancellations, and enforcement matters. Draft cease‑and‑desist letters, counsel clients on brand protection and licensing issues, collaborate with attorneys across practices, and contribute to client development efforts. The ideal candidate has experience with trademark prosecution and portfolio management, strong client‑facing skills, and familiarity with international trademark work. Experience with TTAB proceedings and an interest in practice growth are a plus.
