Job summary

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal to support the Trademark Portfolio Services within the Intellectual Property Practice Group. The role involves preparing registrations, maintenance filings, and due diligence, with emphasis on accuracy, deadlines, and client communication.

This hybrid position allows work across multiple U.S. offices, with a flexible schedule and strong emphasis on collaboration in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for trademark and service mark registration.
• Prepare ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
• Prepare TTAB filings and record title update filings.
• Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
• Perform online preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare search guides.
• Prepare applications for copyright registrations.
• Draft correspondence to clients and local counsel about prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Keep attorneys apprised of deadlines and coordinate with clients.
