Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald Securities seeks a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal IT Transactional team, focusing on trademarks, domain names, filings, deadlines, and related support.

You will assist with patent maintenance and annuities work, generate reports, and liaise with counsel and internal clients. A paralegal certification or relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and organizational discretion are essential.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal Certification, Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience is required.
  • Law school students with at least two (2) full years of law school completed are also considered.
  • Strong follow-up skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to act on detailed instructions and work independently.
  • Highly organized with good judgment and a strong sense of confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with USPTO trademarks filing interface and CPI or similar patent docketing systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in a legal or corporate setting, preferably in intellectual property.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
