The attorney will handle clearance, prosecution strategies, portfolio management, and disputes, while collaborating across practice groups to deliver innovative IP solutions. Strong writing and trial skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 2+ years of substantive experience in trademark & copyright litigation and counseling.
• Strong trial experience and comfort with fast-paced, high-volume practices.
• AmLaw Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on development, protection, commercialization, licensing, and enforcement of trademark and copyright assets.
• Advise clients regarding trademark clearance, prosecution strategies, and portfolio management.
• Handle trademark and copyright disputes and litigation matters as needed.
• Provide guidance on trademark and copyright ownership, licensing, and fair use issues.
• Draft and negotiate intellectual property provisions in commercial and corporate transactions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, memoranda, agreements, and client communications.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering strategic, business-focused legal counsel.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to develop innovative solutions for clients.
• Remain current on developments in trademark, copyright, media, and intellectual property law.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $200,000 – $310,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors. Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
