JURISolutions Legal (JSL) seeks an experienced Trademark/Copyright attorney for a 5- to 6-month, full-time engagement with a financial services client.

The attorney will cover a broad brand IP portfolio, advise on generative AI, licensing, enforcement, and contracts, and assist with strategic transactions and M&A across global brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in a US jurisdiction and in good standing.
• Substantial trademark and copyright experience across clearance, prosecution, and strategy.
• Experience advising on generative AI, AI-generated content, and related agreements.

Job description

JURISolutions seeking an experienced Trademark/Copyright attorney for a 5 to 6-month, full-time opportunity with our financial services client.

The candidate will provide temporary coverage for a broad brand IP portfolio. The ideal candidate will have substantial trademark and copyright experience, including clearance, prosecution, portfolio strategy, licensing, enforcement, content and digital-rights counseling, contract review, and management of infringement claims. Candidates should also have experience advising on generative AI, AI-generated content, marketing and agency agreements, strategic transactions, M&A, global brand initiatives, and emerging technologies.

This engagement is hybrid for those in New York City (preferred); however, remote candidates will also be considered. The anticipated duration is 5-6 months. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in a US jurisdiction and in good standing.

This role offers a range of competitive pay rates starting at $90 per hour (equivalent of ~$187,000/annually) and a benefits package that includes PTO, holiday pay, optional health benefits, 401K and more.
