Job summary

Marina Sirras & Associates LLC in New York seeks a senior IP attorney with extensive trademark and copyright litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of relevant experience, NY Bar admission, and the ability to work legally in the U.S. prior to onboarding.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of trademark and copyright litigation experience.
• Experience drafting complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses.
• Trial experience preferred.
• IP due diligence relating to M&A or other complex transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating IP agreements, licensing and technology contracts.
• Trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets; trademark prosecution preferred.
• New York Bar admission required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Handle substantial trademark and copyright litigation matters for clients.
• Represent clients in transactional IP work and licensing negotiations.
• Assist with IP due diligence in complex transactions.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Support firm’s clients with strategic IP portfolio management.

IP Trademark Litigation/Transactional Senior Attorney - New York

Our client is a top firm, seeking a senior level trademark attorney for its New York office. This role will involve substantial trademark and copyright litigation as well as transactional work. The firm is on a hybrid schedule with 3 days/week in the office. The salary for this position will be between $280k to $320k.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of substantial trademark and copyright litigation experience, including drafting complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses. Trial experience is preferred.
• Experience with IP due diligence relating to M&A or other complex transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating IP agreements as well as licensing and technology contracts.
• Experience with trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets; trademark prosecution experience is preferred.
