Job summary

Illapa Search Ltd is assisting a national full-service law firm in recruiting a Trademark Associate for its Las Vegas office. The role focuses on trademark prosecution and enforcement across global portfolios within a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

The position involves conducting clearance searches, managing U.S. filings, supervising international prosecution, and advising on brand protection strategies. TTAB experience is preferred but not required, with Nevada bar admission preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing trademark portfolios.
• TTAB experience preferred but not required.
• Nevada bar admission preferred; willing to relocate and sit for the Nevada bar.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently and collaboratively.

• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licenses, assignments, consents, coexistence agreements, and settlement agreements.

The group represents companies in the gaming, entertainment, sports, hospitality, technology, and fashion industries, as well as high-profile individuals, in domestic and international trademark matters.

Position Overview

This role focuses primarily on trademark prosecution and enforcement, with work across global trademark portfolios in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• TTAB experience preferred but not required
• Nevada bar admission preferred; candidates licensed in other jurisdictions who are willing to relocate and sit for the Nevada bar will be considered

• Ability to take ownership of matters and work both independently and collaboratively

Compensation

• Salary range: $180,000–$210,000, depending on experience
