Job summary

Our client, an Am law 100 firm with nationwide offices including Austin, seeks a mid to senior trademark associate to manage global portfolios, coordinate clearance efforts, and support enforcement actions such as cease and desist letters, TTAB actions, and UDRP disputes. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of U.S.

and international trademark experience, excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills, and bar admission in the jurisdiction; authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience with U.S. and international trademark portfolios.
• Experience in prosecution, clearance searches, brand protection, licensing and enforcement actions.
• Strong research, writing and oral communication skills.
• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Handle trademark prosecution and clearance searches for global portfolios.
• Provide global brand protection and trademark counseling.
• Lead enforcement actions including cease and desist letters, TTAB actions, UDRP disputes, and foreign oppositions.
• Assist with federal litigation as needed and coordinate with internal teams.

Our client is an Am law 100 firm, seeking a mid to senior level trademark associate for its nationwide offices, including Austin. The salary for this position is between $285k to $370k.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in U.S. and international trademark portfolios, including conducting trademark prosecution and clearance searches, global brand protection, trademark counseling, licensing, and enforcement actions such as cease and desist letters, TTAB actions, UDRP disputes, foreign oppositions, and federal litigation.
• Experience managing global brand protection and trademark counseling.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice is required.
• All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
