Job summary

Mission Staffing in New York seeks an experienced Trade Support professional to monitor trading activity, book trades, and manage lifecycle data across asset classes. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with trade workflows.

You will collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and operations teams, maintain data accuracy, and help drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a Trade Assistant or Trade Support role.
• Solid understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and market infrastructure.
• Experience supporting a diverse range of asset classes and trading strategies.
• Strong Excel skills; VBA/SQL/Python a plus.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily trading activity and book voice/electronic trades in internal systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal trade capture policies
• Maintain instrument reference data and support client/trader/fund onboarding
• Support static data integrity to facilitate STP
• Reconcile internal records with external counterparties on a T+0 basis
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks and position mismatches
• Prepare and sense-check T0 estimates for Portfolio Managers and Funds
• Maintain strong understanding of product lifecycle (cash and market value) as it feeds through to P&L
• Participate in onboarding new traders/products and drive process/technology improvements
• Contribute to procedure documentation and risk mitigation strategies
• Act as liaison between execution traders, portfolio managers, and clients
• Collaborate with COO, Middle Office, Fund Control, Investor Relations, Risk, and Quant teams

Responsibilities:
