Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Graphic Designer to create visual assets for trade show exhibits, event environments, and experiential marketing campaigns. You will work independently from concept to client approval, translating client brand assets and occasionally developing original concepts within established guidelines.

Based in Schaumburg, IL, this in‑person, full‑time role supports our 3D Exhibits team and requires collaborating with designers, project managers, and accounts to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 3–5 years of graphic design experience, with meaningful exposure to trade show, exhibit, or experiential marketing work.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Ability to adapt client brand assets and guidelines, and generate original concepts when needed.
• Strong understanding of large‑format print production standards and file setup for handoff to production.

Responsibilities

• Design graphics for exhibit booths, backdrops, banners, signage, kiosks, and other large‑format displays.
• Adapt client logos, photography, brand assets for exhibit and event use.
• Develop new concepts within existing brand guidelines when assets are not available.
• Translate brand guidelines into cohesive visuals for physical spaces and provide input beyond execution.
• Collaborate with exhibit designers, project managers, and accounts teams to meet client goals.
• Present concepts for client review and incorporate feedback to final approval.
• Prepare production‑ready files with correct bleed, resolution, and color profiles.
