Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Trade Services leader to manage and coordinate operational activities across domestic and international trade. You will supervise staff, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with laws and regulations within the wealth and banking sectors.

The role focuses on risk mitigation, budget oversight, and collaboration with multiple business lines to support client needs and achieve net income goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years in trust and securities operational functions.
• Three to five years of management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operations, systems, procedures.
• Familiarity with systems and platforms such as: DTC, FED, SWP, Trust 3000, ARES.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent supervisory and management skills, including HR knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks.
• Additional one to three years experience managing Managers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a client-focused Trade Services team that serves as a key link between clients and internal operational partners.
• Support both domestic and international trade activity, coordinating with multiple business lines across the organization.
• Manage and coordinate the operational activities for Trade Services through staff.
• Ensure quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers.
• Accomplish results through effective management of staff ranging from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals.
• Administer corporate policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in the department's budget, managing expenses to achieve department net income goals.
• Proactively manage operational risks including identifying control gaps and designing controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure.
• Participate in review and recommendation of operational systems, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.
