Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking an Operations Specialist – Trade Management in Boston, MA. You will handle specialized Securities processing, including instruction receipt, authentication, routing, entry, verification and reporting.

Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Aptitude for analytical and problem resolution.
Self-starter, proactive and objective oriented.
Ability to execute tasks with little direction and meet deadlines.
Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
Ability to identify, analyze, resolve and escalate problems when needed.

Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: entry of client trades (STP, automated or manual).
Authenticate, confirm, and distribute faxed trades; perform edit checks.
Re-key faxed trade tickets into GTPS; process complex instructions.
Verify information prior to release; escalate issues to management.
Conflict Resolution: analyze trends and provide feedback on instruction content.
Communication: clearly communicate instruction issues to clients and outline resolutions.
