Job summary

Leonid Group Ltd is seeking a Trade Compliance Program Manager to own the trade compliance for a U.S. business unit and partner with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Customer Service and Operations.

You will be the go-to person for trade compliance, balancing regulatory requirements with the realities of running a global business, and you’ll help shape policies, training and controls across functions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Trade Compliance, Customs, Logistics Compliance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations
• Hands‑on experience with classifications, valuation, origin, FTAs and tariffs
• Experience with audits, broker management and compliance programmes
• U.S. residency required

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for trade compliance, balancing regulatory requirements with business realities
• Handle import & export compliance across HTS, ECCN, Schedule B, valuation and country of origin
• Manage FTAs, tariffs, AD/CVD and Section 301 processes
• Run denied-party screening and sanctions-related processes
• Oversee trade compliance audits, controls and remediation
• Manage customs broker relationships and performance
• Liaise on regulatory enquiries and government audits (CBP and BIS)
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and training that people actually use
• Collaborate with the corporate Trade Compliance team on governance, risk and controls
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical business decisions
• Opportunity to improve systems and processes using ACE, SAP/GTS, e2open, Descartes, Integration Point and Excel
