Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Trade Compliance Consultant for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of customs and trade data across ACE, broker systems, and internal applications.

You will support post-entry audits, tariff refund initiatives, and data quality improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years in trade compliance or related fields.
• Experience with U.S. Customs regulations and import documentation preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and integrity of customs and trade data across ACE, broker systems, and internal platforms.
• Identify data quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Validate importer data, duties, tariff classifications, and documents for compliance.
• Support post-entry audits and tariff refund initiatives.
• Prepare tariff refund calculations and reporting using Power BI.
• Gather documents for Protests and PSCs, including USMCA data.
• Track liquidation deadlines and support tariff relief efforts.
• Collaborate with Data Management, Purchasing, Brokers, and Trade Compliance teams to improve reporting.
