Job summary

Foot Locker, part of the DICK’S Sporting Goods family, seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst II to support import trade compliance for Foot Locker. Hybrid role based out of Camp Hill, PA, focusing on HTS classification, CBP compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with merchants, vendors, sourcing, and logistics to promote compliance and cost savings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration or similar.
3+ years experience with import trade compliance, international trade laws, HTS Classification, international logistics or related field.
Strong influence in apparel & footwear.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Familiar with working with a customs broker.
Ability to prepare and submit bindings rulings.

Responsibilities

Assist with HTS classification support for Import National Brand products.
Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
Maintain accurate classification data within internal systems and databases.
Assist with customs-related inquiries and compliance reviews to support timely and compliant import/export.
Support Customs audits, internal reviews, and corrective action initiatives; monitor vendor adherence to import requirements and compliance standards.
Ensure proper declarations on all export filings, including HTS/Schedule B, value, PGA, BIS, ECCN, etc.
Assist in onboarding new vendors and programs by ensuring compliance requirements are understood and implemented.

The Trade Compliance Analyst II is responsible for supporting DICK’S Inc. import trade compliance program with a focus on the Foot Locker banner. You will ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, international trade laws, and company policies through product classification, auditing, process improvement, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. This position serves as a key resource to merchants, vendors, sourcing teams, logistics partners, and other internal stakeholders by providing guidance on import compliance requirements, maintaining classification accuracy, and supporting strategic initiatives that promote compliance, operational efficiency, and cost savings.

This role will be hybrid out of our Camp Hill, PA office.

Responsibilities

Trade Compliance Guidance & Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classification

Assist with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification support for Import National Brand products
Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws
Maintain accurate classification data within internal systems and databases
Assist with customs-related inquiries and compliance reviews to support timely and compliant import/export
Support Customs audits, internal reviews, and corrective action initiativesMonitor vendor adherence to import requirements and compliance standards
Ensure proper declarations on all export filings, including HTS/Schedule B, value, partner government agency requirements (PGA), BIS, ECCN, etc.
Assist in onboarding new vendors and programs by ensuring compliance requirements are understood and implemented

Trade Process Improvement & Documentation

Develop and communicate import compliance guidelines, requirements, and expectations to vendors and internal business partners
Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data accuracy across compliance activities
Participate in compliance-related projects, system enhancements, and process integrations
Develop and distribute reporting

Collaborate Cross-Functionally To Reduce Risk And Strengthen Partnerships

Partner with Legal, Logistics, Sourcing, Buying, Finance, and other business teams to align compliance objectives with business goals
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote awareness of trade compliance requirements
Assist with integrating and aligning trade compliance practices across DSG and Foot Locker, including audit programs, duty reduction initiatives, and related compliance controls
Serve as a subject matter resource on compliance implications related to sourcing decisions, new product launches, and special programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration or similar
3+ years experience with import trade compliance, international trade laws, HTS Classification, international logistics or related field
Strong influence in apparel & footwear
Experienced with US classification; Canada a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of tarriffs and free trade agreements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Familiar with working with a customs broker
Ability to prepare and submit bindings rulings
Understanding of customs duties statement reconciliation
Vendor document knowledge

Preferred

Customs Brokerage License
Knowledge of how to manage quantity reconciliation

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $54,600 - $75,000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
