The Trade Compliance Analyst at Broan-NuTone supports our global import and export compliance programs, ensuring adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and internal policies. You will analyze trade data, maintain compliance documentation, and support cross-border operations to minimize regulatory risk.

Responsibilities include determining HTS classifications, reviewing transactions, assisting with FTZ audits, and coordinating with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international trade, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in trade compliance or related areas.
• CCS or CES certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP, with advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulations, including Customs, HTS classification, country of origin, valuation, and trade agreement requirements.
• Determine and maintain accurate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications for products and components.
• Review import and export transactions to ensure compliance with applicable trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with audits, FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) reviews, broker management activities, and regulatory inquiries.
• Audit Customs entries for accuracy and review for approval prior to submission to CBP.
• Maintain accurate trade compliance records and documentation in accordance with legal retention requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, engineering, logistics and finance teams to support trade compliance initiatives.
• Assist with denied party screening, free trade agreement qualification, duty savings programs, and export control activities as required.
• Prepare ACE annual reports (ITRAC).
• Prepare BAA, Build America Buy America Act (BAB A), TAA certificates as needed to Customers.
