Job summary

Fossil Group is seeking a motivated Customs Analyst to join our Logistics & Trade Compliance team. You will ensure products shipped and received by our distribution centers comply with U.S. and international trade regulations through HTSUS classifications, FTZ admissions, and customs filings.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in trade compliance, experience with CBP forms, and a keen eye for accuracy in fast-paced environments. We offer comprehensive benefits and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of Trade Compliance experience, including customs entry filings, HTSUS classification, and internal auditing.
  • Working knowledge of FTZ, C-TPAT, and 19 CFR regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and assign accurate HTSUS classifications for imported products to ensure compliance with customs regulations and duty requirements.
  • Support daily transactional activities, including customs entry filings (e.g., CBP Forms 3461 and 7501), generating ad-hoc reports, and keeping internal databases up to date.
  • Assist the Trade Compliance Department with critical activities, including Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) shipment admissions and inventory level checks.
  • Review, audit, and approve Customs Admissions (e.g., CBP Forms 214 and 7501), and perform post-entry audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate trade compliance records and internal databases in accordance with 19 CFR regulations.
  • Act as a key contact for customs brokers, internal teams, and external partners while coordinating with government agencies (such as U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services) as required.

Fossil Group is seeking a motivated Customs Analyst to join our Logistics & Trade Compliance team. Who You Are
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of Trade Compliance experience, including customs entry filings, HTSUS classification, and internal auditing.
  • Working knowledge of FTZ, C-TPAT, and 19 CFR regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or successful completion of the Customs Broker License Examination (CBLE) with licensure pending.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access and SAP is a plus.
