The OpportunityAt Austal Ships the Piping and Mechanical department is responsible for conducting sophisticated piping and mechanical installations of new build Naval and Army ships. This TA opportunity is to support Tradesperson’s with a wide variety of installations and commissioning activities on the following systems and installations; Main Engines and drive lines, HVAC systems, Fuel systems, Hydraulic systems, Reverse Osmosis systems, Bilge systems, Domestic systems, Anchoring and mooring systems, Deck Cranes and Davitt's, Ballast systems.For the right candidate there may also be an opportunity to progress into a Marine Fitter apprenticeship What’s involvedAssist with the manufacture and installation of vessel systems and components.
