Job summary
Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a software engineer to develop model-based software for tractor transmission using C and MATLAB, with TargetLink code generation. You will port the application across hardware platforms and work with CAN protocols under J1939.
Responsibilities include developing a test harness, performing MIL and SIL testing, collaborating with Validation teams to verify algorithms, and handling change requests while maintaining clear written and verbal
Qualifications
- Automotive software with focus on model-based development and embedded systems.
- Experience with MIL and SIL testing.
- Strong communication and ability to work with Validation teams.
- Ability to port software to various hardware platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop model-based software for tractor transmission.
- Work with CAN protocols under J1939.
- Develop test harness and perform unit testing.
- Support Validation teams to ensure algorithms work correctly.
- Resolve functional changes and change requests.
- Perform development testing on vehicle.
- Assist electronic functional testing on test vehicles.
- Demonstrate independence with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with off-highway equipment operation.
