Job summary

NFI is seeking a Tractor Trailer Washer in Illinois to keep tractors and trailers clean and ready for operation. The role focuses on interior and exterior cleaning, including spraying, scrubbing, and rinsing, with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with pressurized washing and cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to track and record all tractors and trailers cleaned during shift.

Job description

Overview

The Tractor Trailer Washer will be responsible for keeping the company’s tractors and trailers in a clean state.

Responsibilities

• Spraying and scrubbing the interior of NFI trailers
• Spraying, scrubbing and rinsing the interior of NFI trailers
• Spraying, scrubbing and rinsing the exterior of NFI tractors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc).
• Experience working with pressurized washing and cleaning equipment
• Must be able to track and record all tractors and trailers cleaned during shift
• Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $14.53 - $24.00/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
