Job summary

EMP Trust HR Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the shop in Cheyenne, WY. Responsibilities include basic repairs on tractors and trailers, assisting higher-level technicians, and following safety standards to complete PM services and troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes learning, attention to detail, and teamwork, with structured training courses and cross-training scheduled to advance technician progression and knowledge across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engines, transmissions and their theories.
• Can perform PM services with little to no instruction.
• Must possess basic tool set.
• Possesses general knowledge of electrical circuits.
• 1 year or less at Liberty or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS.
• Explain PM schedules and fluid types used in engines and power units.
• Identify greasing points for PM service on tractors and trailers.
• Check u-joints and determine replacement needs.
• Know battery disconnects, powering procedures and PTO engagement.
