Qualifications

• Technical school degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain tractors and/or trailers using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and inspect parts for defects and wear.
• Repair electrical circuits using diagnostic software and schematics.
• Recondition, repair or replace parts as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on brakes, bearings, electrical and air systems.
• Diagnose engine/driveline/ABS issues with mechanical and computer tools.
• Set up and use cutting, welding, and metal fabrication equipment for trailer repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
