Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused Class A driver for New York City routes, based in Easton, PA. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver them with a high level of customer service daily. 925 Conroy Pl, Easton, PA 18040.

This full-time role offers a 5AM–5PM first shift, 45 hours per week, and a starting rate of $32.00 per hour with benefits from day one. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Class A license with DOT medical card required.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft.
• Passing our Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse review.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• DOT compliance knowledge and logging hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and pickups throughout NYC/NJ/PA.
• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft safely.
• Collect and deliver medical waste containers; maintain customer relations.
• Provide strong customer service and adhere to schedule.
• Complete deliveries within time windows; communicate changes clearly.

New York City Routes in tractor trailer! Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our amazing team in Easton! We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Easton, PA Plant. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. 925 Conroy Pl, Easton, PA 18040

What will your job involve?

• New York City deliveries/Pick ups Delivering throughout NYC/NJ/PA
• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Consistently lifting up to 50lbs!! Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
