Job summary

TRDI is hiring a Full-Time Tractor Operator for our Corpus Christi TX site. The ideal candidate will operate tractors and related equipment for grounds, field, or site maintenance with knowledge of basic maintenance and safety practices. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tractors and related equipment for grounds or field maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and safe operation practices.
• Ability to work outdoors and follow outdoor work procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and equipment safely for grounds, field, or site maintenance.
• Attach, adjust, and use graders, plows, mowers, backhoes, and more as needed.
• Cut grass and maintain large outdoor areas including parks and airfields.
• Trim hedges and edges around walkways and landscapes with tools.
• Plant grass, trees, and shrubs; water lawns during dry periods.
• Apply fertilizer or insecticide as directed.
• Use string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and edging tools.
• Inspect, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on tractors and attachments.
• Maintain logs for equipment usage and maintenance.
• Remove debris; assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal.
• Follow site safety procedures and operational standards outdoors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
