Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Tractor Operator for the Blackstone, VA location. You will drive tractors to move materials, attach implements, tow trailers, and perform light repairs while following safety protocols.

Excellent candidates will have a high school diploma, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance. The role is non-exempt with shift options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license with at least one year of safe driving experience.
• Minimum two years of related experience and/or vocational training; education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate gasoline or diesel tractors to move materials, tow trailers, and load equipment.
• Attach and adjust tractor attachments (graders, plows, backhoes, etc.) and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment and perform daily inspections per schedule.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and complete required training on time.
• Maintain grounds and medians and assist with equipment inspections and repairs.
