Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is hiring a General Laborer for the FASTC site in Blackstone, VA. You will perform grounds maintenance, operate light equipment, and support various environmental tasks.

We seek reliable team players with the ability to obtain a secret clearance and adapt to a fast-paced, shift-based schedule. The position offers benefits and a pathway to contribute to mission-critical operations for federal clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
• Experience or training relevant to labor tasks and site safety.
• Must be able to operate grounds equipment and light trucks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds of FASTC property.
• Cuts grass with mowers (walking or riding, under 2000 lbs).
• Uses weed eater on ditches, berms and inclines; lifts and carries equipment.
• Trims hedges; maintains landscape; applies fertilizer/insecticide.
• Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs; waters as needed.
• Removes leaves and debris; clears snow; spreads salt.
• Repairs fences, gates, benches; assists in general site tasks.
• Drives small equipment or tractors; may direct others.
