Responsibilities

• Operates hand tools and small two cycle engines (e.g., chain saws, weed eaters, portable pumps, lawn mowers).
• Operates tractors 75–100 horsepower weighing 7,000–12,000 GVW and uses tractor-towed equipment.
• Mows grass and weeds along river banks, in wooded and marshy areas, and near roadways to maintain fire breaks and refuge properties.
• Performs basic operator maintenance such as checking/replacing fluids, hoses, tires, batteries, and fittings.
