Job summary

Rotolo Consultants, Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced equipment operator to load, unload, and manage heavy machinery. Responsibilities include transporting gear to sites, following safety rules, and coordinating with crew to move loads and clear terrain.

You will operate tractors, bulldozers, and related equipment, perform maintenance, and monitor fuel and safety standards. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K with paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Commercial Driver's License with Offense-Free Driving History a PLUS

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment to various job site and dispatch locations.
• Learn and follow safety regulations.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
• Adjust handwheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, or levers, or depress pedals to operate machines, such as bulldozers, trench excavators, road graders, or backhoes.
• Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.
