Job summary

Bayside Kubota of Upper Marlboro is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our growing team. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition a range of Kubota equipment from tractors to construction gear, and keep accurate service records.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and owns the necessary tools. We offer competitive pay, medical/401K/PTO, and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must own the appropriate level of tools required for most service work.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, recondition, service, and assemble equipment as assigned by the Shop Foreman.
• Repairs equipment including tractors, small engines, lawn movers, ATVs, construction and farm equipment.
• Maintains accurate and easy to read records of work performed.
• Reports any work shortages and malfunctions to the Service Manager.
• Disassembles and inspects equipment quickly for quotes and scheduling.
• Recommends additional necessary repairs to Service Manager and/or Customer.
• Keeps shop vehicles clean and properly serviced and reports problems to the Service Manager.
• Stays up to date with technical changes and factory service schools.
• Pays attention to repeat repairs to avoid future issues and costs.
• Fabricates and welds metal parts when necessary.
• Makes service calls as assigned by the Service Manager.
