Job summary

The Crystal Group in New York seeks a full-time Tractor and Equipment Technician to join our service team. You will perform repairs on agricultural equipment, test components with diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Manager about additional work needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Service technician experience required.
• Kubota experience preferred.
• Dexterity and steady hand required.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service and computer basics.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Team player with collaboration skills.
• Willing to learn new technology and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment.
• Communicate with Service Manager regarding additional services for customers.
• Provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer warranty specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair agriculture equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Manager so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Service Technician experience required
• Kubota experience preferred
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
