AECOM seeks a Project Engineer, Traction Power and Medium Voltage in California to lead electrical engineering for 25kV AC traction power, substations, and wayside distribution. You will coordinate interfaces across signaling, communications, and stations while supporting energization and commissioning on a major transportation project.

The role requires extensive experience in traction power, MV distribution, protective relays, and SCADA, with travel 25-50% along the Central Valley alignment;

Formación

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with traction power and electrical systems from design through commissioning.
• Familiarity with protection schemes, load flow analyses, and grounding studies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering coordination for traction power, MV, and auxiliary power systems across design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate interfaces between traction power, OCS, signaling, SCADA and stations.
• Review studies, protection schemes, and equipment specifications; manage deliverables and submittals.
• Provide technical support for substations, interconnections, and SCADA systems; monitor field compliance.
