Job summary

Pratt Miller Engineering seeks a Trackside IT Support Engineer to be the first line of on-site technology support at NASCAR races. You will deliver IT and toolset support for Pratt Miller software, manage trackside networks and devices across ~41 events per year, and coordinate with engineers and teams.

A BS/MS in CS or engineering and 3+ years IT experience with Windows/Linux and networking are required; .NET/Python experience a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of information technology, systems support, or database administration.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and user support for Pratt Miller software tools at NASCAR Sprint Cup races.
• Proactively monitor health and performance of trackside tools and services.
• Provide informal training and assist in distribution of weekly reports.
• Maintain trackside library of current software versions and support materials.
