Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years of industry-related experience in roads/highways/bridges.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand work directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow employees.
• Knowledge of standard hand signals used to direct construction equipment operators.

Aufgaben

• Inspect equipment for safe day-to-day operation and general maintenance needs.
• Operate track hoe to excavate, move, and grade earth to specified grade or level.
• Interact with construction general laborers and/or crew members to ensure proper alignment, movement, and grade confirmation for the project.
• Turn valves to control air and water output of compressors and pumps.
• Adjust control wheels, handles, and pedals to drive machinery and control attachments such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and swing booms.
