Job summary

Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused Track Laborers in Kansas to support track construction, maintenance, and inspection projects. This hands-on, outdoor role requires working as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient rail operations.

You will perform physically demanding labor, assist with track installation and maintenance, and support field operations in a fast-paced environment. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Works as part of a team to support maintenance and inspection.
  • Adheres to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive spikes and assist with track installation and maintenance.
  • Move and set cross ties and sections of rail.
  • Shovel ballast and support track alignment.
  • Adjust and lubricate switches.
  • Tighten track bolts and hardware.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
