Job summary

NASCAR seeks a safety-focused track official at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to support operations during events. You will observe track conditions, issue flags and signals to drivers, and help in incidents to maintain a safe racing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or higher, be prepared to work weekdays and weekends, endure various weather conditions, and communicate with radio tower and emergency responders. This is a safety-sensitive role with SAP participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observe, monitor and assess track surface conditions.
• Provide consistent information to drivers using racing flags and signals.
• Observe competitors for driving behavior and their cars and report issues.
• Help drivers and others in an incident.
• Communicate information to radio tower, stewards, and emergency medical responders.
• Other duties may be assigned.
