Job summary

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is seeking a part-time Non-Medical Firefighter for Track Services, Tow Truck support during events in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform fire safety duties and assist with incident response to ensure rapid, effective action under demanding conditions.

Responsibilities include emergency response, basic rescue and extrication, patient assessment, vehicle entry/exit, equipment handling (50–75 lb), and hose line operation while managing PPE in high-noise, extreme environments.

Qualifications

• Emergency response and basic rescue/exit procedures during events.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Preferred experience in firefighting and vehicle extrication at a track or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to emergency incidents.
• Conduct basic rescue and extrication support operations.
• Assist with patient assessment and movement.
• Enter and exit response vehicles quickly and safely.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull equipment weighing 50–75 pounds.
• Move or drag an adult patient weighing up to 220 pounds with assistance.
• Advance charged hose lines and deploy fire extinguishers.
• Perform PPE donning/doffing and operate in high-noise environments.
