Job summary

K1 Speed Lee's Summit is hiring energetic Track Attendants for our fast-paced indoor karting venue. You will help run on-track operations, assist guests with safety equipment, and keep races moving from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective communication in front of large groups.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Willing to drive the karts daily and respond to safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare track, pit area, and karts before opening.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Brief new racers on kart operation and safety procedures.
• Assist guests with helmets, neck braces, and safety gear.
• Maintain orderly flow of racers through pit and track areas.
• Safely load/unload racers from karts and supervise races.
• Monitor racer behavior and address unsafe driving or safety concerns.
• Communicate with team to keep races on schedule.
• Charge, rotate, and maintain karts throughout the day.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and on-track incidents.
• Keep pits/track clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform facility cleaning, maintenance, and closing duties.
