K1 Speed is seeking energetic and safety-focused Track Attendants for our fast-paced indoor karting venue in Lees Summit, MO. You will oversee on-track operations, assist guests with safety gear, and ensure races run efficiently from start to finish.

The role emphasizes delivering a safe and exciting racing experience, with responsibilities including briefing new racers on safety, maintaining kart readiness, and handling emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to drive the karts daily and assist with safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare track, pit area, and karts before opening.
• Provide excellent customer service to K1 Speed guests.
• Brief new racers on kart operation and safety procedures.
• Assist guests with helmets, neck braces, and safety equipment.
• Maintain smooth flow of racers through pit and track areas.
• Safely load and unload racers from karts.
• Supervise races and enforce policies.
• Monitor racer behavior and safety concerns.
• Communicate with team to keep races on schedule.
• Charge, rotate, and maintain karts throughout the day.
• Respond to emergencies and on-track incidents.
• Keep pits and track clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform facility cleaning and maintenance as needed.
• Handle closing duties and prepare for next day.
