Job summary

CSX Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Track Supervisor to inspect and maintain track structure and ROW to CSX and FRA specifications. You will directly supervise track forces, develop safety programs, and ensure safe work performance across assigned divisions.

Qualifications

• >= Associates Degree/2-year degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe and efficient work conditions.
• Plan work and allocate resources for timely tasks.
• Inspect production gang work and track construction projects for quality compliance.
• Monitor track inspection to meet FRA and CSX requirements.
• Address defects found by geometry cars and rail test cars using CSX ITIS and GEMS.
• Communicate across departments and with public agencies.
• Provide feedback and coaching to maintain discipline and performance.
• Ensure budget compliance for hiring, overtime, and materials.
• Conduct engineering activities at major derailments and disasters.
• Carry out efficiency and operational tests.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager.
